Near the River Frome, the pavement at the edge of the B4203 is above road level, with drainage holes in the side. The flood gauge http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4396901 on the left has markings up to 6ft (nearly 2 metres). A flood of that height would cover the pavement.
