The building on the corner of Pump Street and Victoria Avenue has the year 1899 inscribed http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4348583 below the stylised cross at the top of the building. It has been in secular use for many decades. Kelly's Directory of Herefordshire 1913 edition lists it as a Primitive Methodist chapel, whereas the 1929 edition states Primitive Methodist Chapel, at present (1929) closed. It was in use as a printing works in 1975.
