Located on the corner of Great Hampton Street and Hockley Street. The building was originally an electroplating factory for T. Wilkinson & Sons, which was founded by Thomas Wilkinson in Sheffield in 1832. The factory in Great Hampton Street dates from around 1868. The firm were especially known for their electroplated cutlery. By the 1930's the business had declined and the company moved elsewhere. The building is in the palazzo style and is Grade II kisted. It was later used as a brass foundry and today is used by Fashion First, a firm of wholesalers. On the roof of the building is a pelican with outstretched wings which was the logo of T. Wilkinson & Sons and is why the factory got its name. Part of the factory were Nos. 86 to 90 (even only) Hockley Street and they can be seen in this view.
