Overflow stream flowing under Washbrook Lane

The overflow from Sywell Reservoir which has flowed down the cascade (see Image] Image] & Image]) and past Image] now flows under this little arched bridge carrying Washbrook Lane. As a small man-made pool beside this bridge (see Image]) used to be used to wash sheep, presumably this is the "Wash Brook" from which the lane takes its name.
