Dimond Street is the main shopping and business street in Pembroke Dock. Some references wrongly show it as Diamond Street. I'd guessed that the name is a reference to the family name Dimond, but a history of the town states only that it is unclear why the spelling omits the letter a. It is not the Welsh spelling of diamond, which is diemwnt.
