This photograph shows the pub's frontage to Blucher Street. It was taken some time after the purchase of the pub by the Black Country Ales Brewery. As part of their restoration they removed the blue facia boards to reveal the original gold and blue Majolica tiled facia dating from 1906, when the pub was altered by the long-gone Holden's Brewery. Today the pub is very much a real ale pub, although other drinks are available. It is not a foodie pub although cobs and cheese platters are usually on sale.
