The sign, erected in 1983, depicts a tractor and trailer representing modern agriculture and the past represented by the scythe and horse. The lower section shows the church of St Mary and some trees are there to symbolise the woodland to the east of the parish. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4291530
