Rose Grove Wharf

In the mid-1950s, a wooden coal chute fitted to the quay here to load coal from the opencast coal workings around Padiham. The wharf is now used as Rose Grove Services (Elsan disposal, Pump-out, Showers, Toilets, Water points https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/directory/1123/rose-grove-services - Canal & River Trust).
