Holy Innocents Church

Seen from Church Lane. A nice little village church built in the late 1840s. The foundation stone was laid on the day of the Feast of the Holy Innocents, 28th December, 1848 which may account for its dedication. It was consecrated by the Bishop of Chichester on 7th June 1850. The church has its own website http://www.holy-innocents-southwater.org.uk/ with local church and secular information. See also a good article on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Innocents_Church%2C_Southwater.
