Viewed from the station footbridge. Both trains are in the turquoise livery of Arriva Trains Wales. The train in the distance is arriving from Taffs Well. Its route towards Cardiff Central will be via Llandaf, Cathays and Queen Street stations. The train on the left is at one terminus of the City Line route. It will shortly depart for the other terminus at Coryton, stopping at all suburban stations. Its route to Cardiff Central is via Danescourt, Fairwater, Waun-Gron Park and Ninian Park stations. Scheduled journey time from Radyr to Coryton is about 40 minutes along the looplike route of several kilometres. The termini are only about 1200 metres apart in a straight line.
