This photograph is looking east north-easterly, ‘up’ High Street (A170) and was taken from the junction with Image (behind the viewpoint, right). Note the raised pavement on the northern side of the street. This begins at All Saints http://www.freewebs.com/thorntondale/thorntondale.htm church (behind the viewpoint) and extends beyond the curve in the street, ahead.
