Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn 0-6-0T No. 7684 of 1951 coming to couple up to the carriages for the return trip to Brownhills West.. The locomotive worked in the power stations at Nechells and is known as Nechells No. 4. The guard insisted on the steam heating being coupled as he was freezing.
