Ickleton is a very attractive village with a church which Pevsner says "has few equals in the country." The spire of St Mary's can be seen behind the house called 'Mowbrays'. This dates from the 17th century. For an excellent collection of photographs of the church see https://www.flickr.com/photos/norfolkodyssey/sets/72157629094113520/
