Newton Ferrers: Kiln Quay and Baring House

Baring House was built on Kiln Quay in 1884 for the banker, Lord Revelstoke. Seen beyond is Newton Creek, an arm of the Yealm. Presumably this was the site of a lime kiln in earlier times
