Lime Kiln Close Local Nature Reserve

This is the oldest part of the abandoned chalk pits on Limekiln Hill. It was last worked for building stone and lime for cement over 200 years ago, so is full of mature trees. It is owned by the city council and managed by Wildlife Trust volunteers.
