In the upper story is a model of St Michael’s church. Each facet of the octagonal shape bears a shield showing an aspect of the parish. These are a copy of the 'brass' effigy of John Fastolf and another of his wife Katherine in the church. The summer house of the author George Borrow who resided in the south of the parish, the crest of the Hobart family who were Lords of the Manor. The sheaf of barley and crossed malter’s shovels which symbolises the maltings and the agricultural aspect of the parish. A Norfolk wherry, and Oulton High House, once the manor house.
