This is a care village for the elderly run under the auspices of the Sisters of Nazareth. The village is situated off the Ravenhill Road and occupies the site of the former Nazareth Lodge, an Approved School for boys aged 6-10. At the age of 10 the pupils were transferred to the now defuct Rubane House home at Kircubbin, run by the De La Salle Brothers. Both Nazareth Lodge and Rubane House and currently being investigated by the Northern Ireland Historical Institutional Abuse Inquiry. http://www.carehome.co.uk/carehome.cfm/searchazref/20007005NAZA
