This is the same oak tree that Jonathan photographed in 2007 Image, possibly looking as though it is resiliently growing back. Your photographer had intended to venture further into this isolated grid square but sensed that his presence had spooked a flock of sheep, the outsiders of which are just visible on the right, that were being driven in his direction, and he decided to diplomatically retire whence he had come.
