The old Town Hall High Street Narberth

Grade II Listed 18th century hall largely rebuilt in the 1830s. Containing the jail, magistrates court and town hall, by 1858 its poor condition caused the court and magistrates relocation to a new building and it became a Mechanics Institute with a library. In 1881 the clock tower was built and in 1912 another floor was added. It still houses the cell where the leaders of the Rebecca Riots were imprisoned.
