Pump Court is in the heart of the Temple area of the City of London famous for its association with the legal profession. It links Middle Temple Lane with Inner Temple. Two of the buildings on the left are EH Grade I listed, 4-6 Pump Court http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1193870&searchtype=mapsearch nearest the camera and, next to it the white rear façade of 1 Hare Court http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1359200&searchtype=mapsearch which takes its address from the adjacent court to the north, to which it runs through.
