A cutmark on the end of a wall near Claremont House. It is listed in the Benchmark Database: http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm64323 , and is close to Royal Lane. That lane is an old one and was previously known as Asylum Lane - it runs past what used to be the old Union Workhouse, close to the train station.
