The commemorative stone on the viaduct over Godley Brook states that "This Viaduct was erected by the HYDE CORPORATION IN THE YEAR 1904" and lists members of the Highways Committee. "Designed and Carried out by J. MITCHELL BOROUGH SURVEYOR."
