These five tree trunks were erected in this park as part of as part of the Art, Cities and Landscape Project, developed jointly by the Maison de la Culture of Amiens and the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk who are working in partnership to develop their cultural, natural and built heritage, through the landscaping, architectural and artistic efforts of French and English artists and landscape architects. The project has been funded by the European Commission. The work has been designed in tribute to Roger Taylor, the drummer in the band Queen, who was born in King's Lynn.
