This ticket barrier is relatively new and plays a part in the latest stress-producing wheeze: the departure point of your train is not disclosed until very shortly before it is due to leave, resulting in a last-minute surge of panic-stricken, coffee-clutching travellers ramming themselves simultaneously into this cunning filter device.
