Looking across the glacial meltwater channel, where the bare ground reveals the red till which mantles the area. On the skyline at left are Westerton of Whitehill and Mains of Whitehill. On the right is Wester Greenskares, and in the centre there is a glimpse of Easterton of Whitehill.
