Grade II* listed, early 18th century former Rectory near St.Andrew's church in Langar. Birthplace of Samuel Butler (1835-1902) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Butler_(novelist) author of EREHWON, novelist, satirist and writer, and son of the Rev. Thomas Butler.
