This view of the conjunction of Venus & Mercury was taken on the 15th January 2015, 4 days after the closest approach (which was obscured by clouds). The camera was an Olympus OM1 with a 200mm lens using 1600 ASA film for a 10 second exposure. The camera site was the football dugout on the edge of the Heatherside playing field and the trees are part of the Heatheridge school grounds.
