Planning permission has been granted by Ashford Borough Council under application number 14/01025/AS for “re-roofing building with same materials. Repointing walls in line with mortar. Opening up blocked fireplaces. Replacement of worm eaten joists to living room. Repair and replacement of 20th century windows to southwest elevation”. The photograph shows the scaffolding that has been erected and the roofing felt that has been added prior to the retiling of the roof. Just beyond stands the church of St Peter and Paul.
