Looking towards the main shops in the Epsom suburb of Tattenham Corner. The road to the station is named Emily Davison Drive after a suffragette who came from these parts. She is best known for stepping out in front of King George V's horse in the 1913 Derby, at Epsom racecourse a short distance to our left, as a result of which she died from her injuries a few days later.
