Opened in 1906 by the Great Central Railway on what is today the line from London Marylebone to High Wycombe. As built, there were four tracks here and the platforms faced the outer loop tracks on either side, so allowing fast trains to overtake stopping ones. At some stage (1980s?) it is believed two inner tracks were removed and the platforms rebuilt between the two remaining tracks. View east towards Wembley Stadium and London Marylebone.
