'Resilience' is a favourite buzzword with politicians and planners, referring to response to emergencies such as floods, heavy snowfall, power cuts and so on. Cardrona is one of 69 communities in the Scottish Borders taking part in a scheme to train and equip local volunteers to respond to such events. This store is by the village hall.
