Old Hiraethog farmhouse with a history stretching back to ancient times. In 1866 an ancient tumulus was levelled, which was 20 yards in diameter and 2' 6" in height. A cist and ashes were noticed during the destruction. This was the home of Thomas Williams, poet, and ancestor of other talented people including Thomas Glynne Davies, Bard.
