Viewed from a track alongside the A48 Jordan Hill. Heading SW from Gloucester towards Lydney, this is part of a diesel-hauled train of containers bearing the LESS CO2 RAIL logo on the side and Stobart numbers on the top. The rail service, launched by Tesco, is operated in partnership with Stobart Rail and Direct Rail Services and is branded in the Tesco logo style. It runs from Daventry International Railfreight terminal to the Wentloog terminal near Cardiff, supplying the Tesco distribution centre at Magor. The rail service has resulted in many thousand fewer lorry journeys, and a reduction of many thousands of tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
