Currently undergoing repairs. Note the golden eagle atop the pediment, and the "MAY & WADE Export Grocers Shipping Contractors" advertisement on its side. This is a listed building (see Wikipaedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grade_II_listed_buildings_in_Southampton:_D%E2%80%93L ) built in the Art Nouveau style in 1903. In the National Archives ( https://images.nationalarchives.gov.uk/assetbank-nationalarchives/action/viewAsset;jsessionid=D3FF45798484018555676FA34481F7D3;jsessionid=F4AB7DB06504F68F04735DB86379C872?id=2428&index=7&total=1000&categoryId=13&categoryTypeId=1&collection=Victoriana%20and%20Edwardiana&sortAttributeId=0&sortDescending=true ) there is a photo of a May & Wade advertisement showing the building, which is there named as Eagle House.
