Large roundabout with a sunken centre in Aberdare

In January 2015, there is standing water in the middle of the 40 metre diameter roundabout at the junction of the A4059 and B4275. A Google Earth Street View taken in June 2011 shows trees and no sunken centre here. A view taken in August 2012 shows an excavator, brown earth, no grass or trees but no sunken centre.
