The new housing at the top of Bilston High Street. Dennis Turner was a local lad born in Bradley in 1942 who worked at the former Bilston Steelworks and moved on through the trade union to become the local labour MP in 1987. He was created a life peer in 2005 with the title Lord Bilston, and died in 2014.
