Bridge No 28 across the Peak Forest canal is labelled as Thornsett Road Bridge in the widely used Nicholson canal Guide No 5. On the left is the former Brunswick Mill, now used and much extended by the Swizzells Matlow sweet factory. Many of the girls used to buy love hearts when I was at primary school!
