Opened in 1869 by the East London Railway on the line from New Cross to Shadwell, this was part of the London Underground until 2007 when it was closed for rebuilding. From 2010, the reopened line was part of London Overground. View north towards Wapping and Shadwell, underneath a succession of bridges.
