A former Bluenose bar at 49-51 Ravenhill Road. The premises seem to date from the building of the Ravenhill Road circa 1880/90 when they were occupied by Samuel Stewart, grocer. To avoid any confusion the Stewart’s Cash Stores business was founded by one Joseph Lowry Stewart who was born, in 1881, near Crossgar. McMullan’s Lane Image is at lower middle. Image shows the ground floor.
