This is a busy bus stop -- one of 3 on this side of the road, so you do need to know roughly which way you are going in order to pick your stop. The 453 "Bendy Bus" stopped now is on its way to Deptford. You get on at any door having bought your ticket first. It has crossed people's minds not to buy a ticket but Revenue Inspectors frequently make on board checks -- it then turns from a free ride into a very expensive one.
