The (former) Pump House, New River Head

The pump house was built in 1768 to house a steam engine that was used to pump water from the Round Pond up to the Upper Pond (now the Claremont Square reservoir - see Image). For further info, see http://www.british-history.ac.uk/survey-london/vol47/pp165-184 .
