Iconic pub on Rochdale Road, with its own nearby brewery. A two-roomed local, with bar to right, and dining room at the back. An architectural gem, with Victorian tiled ceiling and walls, and mosaic floor. Eight cask ales were available at my visit. It was noted that the pub was used both by inhabitants of local expensive apartments and also by workers from the local postal delivery office. The pub is listed in the 2015 Good Beer Guide, and also by English Heritage: http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=457190&mode=adv Archive link to pub/brewery page https://web.archive.org/web/20160318215235/http://www.marblebeers.com/marble-arch/
