Situated on the northern edge of the flying field at what is locally known as Aves Corner, this aircraft hangar was moved to its present location at sometime in the 1960s. According to the owner it is one of the three hangars which stood on the WW2 aerodrome's Technical site. The other two hangars remain in place on the site of the Lotus Cars Works and have since been re-clad and modified for car production. See also > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1962477.
