At daffodil time this small open space on the corner of Long Lane and Hudson Road is a blaze of colour - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3887197 For the rest of the year it is fairly bleak and so it was desperation for a patch of colour which made me include a dog waste bin in the photograph. Long Lane is the road ahead and Hudson Road is on the left.
