Baddeley Clock, Windermere

This clock tower was erected to mark the boundary between Bowness and Windermere. It was built to honour John Byrde Baddeley who died in 1906. During his lifetime he wrote a number of guide books covering various parts of the Uk including the lake District and he spent the latter part of his life living in the local area.
