The rather uninspired road name presumably dates back to feudal times when the local farming community basically shared one big field. The road leads to a cottage with the equally inspired name of.... wait for it.... are you sure you're ready for this? Yes, you guessed it.... the cottage is called Field Cottage. Very down-to-earth folk around here you know.
