Once upon a time

Image: © Chris Denny Taken: 6 Dec 2014

A nondescript building housing a chain store and of possible interest solely because once upon a time the building it replaced was home to the wonderful Kensington Market, full of stalls which, from the 1960s to the 1990s catered for whatever alternative lifestyles and fashions were current. It was always colourful, vibrant and great fun, qualities not associated necessarily with the present tenants. After all, you can't buy a pair of crushed velvet loon pants in PC World.
