Formerly the Kings Head Inn which moved here from a previous spot at the junction with Ockenden Lane during the late 18th century to capitalise on the London-Brighton coaching trade. The inn finally closed a decade ago and has now been converted into residences. Beyond is the junction with Church Street, see Image with the white building in the distance being Image
