A number of the former managers' houses lining the driveway, with the site entrance/exit in the distance. The site was purchased by Bass, Ratcliff & Greeton Ltd in 1901 and the building work was completed 6 years later. These homes for senior employees and their families were some of the last buildings to be completed. All the buildings on the site are Grade II-listed. A cluster of new houses are in the process of being built on the opposite side of Mareham Lane.
