Broomstair Metal Co.Ltd was set up in 1980 and was dissolved in 1993. The business actually began in the 1950s. When the founder died the company went to the eldest son who is now retiring. The grandson built the large building in the yard at the side of the river and has now moved to bigger purpose built premises. The industrial unit is now back on the market.
